Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a C Developer to work on a contractor basis. The selected professional will design, develop, and maintain efficient C code to support the training and performance of frontier AI models across critical domains such as finance, healthcare, and engineering. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C code to support AI model training and evaluation processes.
• Optimize existing code to improve performance, scalability, and maintainability for large-scale AI systems.
• Collaborate with engineers and data scientists to analyze technical requirements and deliver comprehensive software solutions aligned with AI model development goals.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and inefficiencies through systematic debugging and testing.
• Participate in code reviews to uphold high coding standards, best practices, and documentation protocols across the development lifecycle.
• Stay current with advancements in C programming and related technologies to continuously enhance development methodologies.
• Document development processes, code changes, and solutions with clarity and precision for team reference and future maintenance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in C programming with a strong understanding of memory management, data structures, and algorithm optimization.
• Experience developing and maintaining high-performance, reusable codebases in C for production or large-scale systems.
• Familiarity with debugging tools, profiling techniques, and version control systems such as Git to ensure code reliability and traceability.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Commitment to professional development, including staying informed about emerging trends and technologies in C development and AI applications.
• No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge and software development expertise are the primary qualifications.
