About the role
Company
Based in Montreal, NURA Medical specializes in the development of next generation clinical decision-support technology. NURA is on a mission to increase patient safety and provide healthcare professionals with tools that minimize medication calculation, preparation, and administration errors through efficient data management and evidence-based decision-making.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and innovative team dedicated to advancing medication safety. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented pharmacist to support our lead pharmacist in maintaining and enhancing our medication database.
This role offers a unique chance to contribute meaningfully to the development of safer medication practices while gaining hands-on experience in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the pharmacy lead and will gain practical exposure to product design, clinical dosing standards, and medication safety optimization.
Position Overview
Commitment: Part-time, 10-30 hours a month. Flexible days/month.
Location: Remote, based in Canada
Language: English, French a strong asset
Responsibilities and Duties:

Collaborate closely with the lead pharmacist in the development, management, and maintenance of medication databases to ensure accuracy and reliability.

Participate in the testing and validation of software features related to medication safety, providing feedback to enhance functionality and usability.

Assist in the organization, updating, and quality control of medication reference materials, guidelines, and related documentation.

Perform additional tasks or special projects as assigned by the lead pharmacist to support the overall goals of the pharmacy team
Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BScPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited university.

Licensure by a Canadian provincial regulatory body.

Strong organizational and data management skills.

Ability to conduct comprehensive literature searches using medical databases (e.g., PubMed, Medline).

Detail-oriented with a proactive and collaborative attitude.
Desired Skills:

Familiarity with hospital pharmacy operations and medication safety principles.

Experience with data entry and report generation.

Interest in healthcare informatics and process optimization.
