What We Look For In a Elementary School Science Tutor

Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of life science including plants, animals, and ecosystems, earth science including weather, rocks, and landforms, physical science including matter, energy, and forces, and scientific inquiry methods. Ability to explain the water cycle, simple machines, animal adaptations, and properties of matter while building foundational scientific literacy and curiosity in young learners. Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Skilled at facilitating hands-on experiments, observation activities, and age-appropriate scientific investigations. Guides students through forming hypotheses, recording data in journals, comparing and classifying objects, and drawing conclusions from simple experiments.
