Job Title: Solution Architect – Teamcenter Architecture Location: Canada (Remote) Job Type: Contract (T4/Corp-to-Corp) Duration: Long-Term Contract Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect – Teamcenter Architecture to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions based on Siemens Teamcenter. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Teamcenter architecture, enterprise integrations, solution design, and digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing, automotive, aerospace, industrial, or engineering domains. The Solution Architect will collaborate with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and technical architects to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing PLM solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Design end-to-end enterprise solutions using Siemens Teamcenter. Define Teamcenter architecture, deployment strategies, and best practices. Lead solution design workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Architect Teamcenter implementations, upgrades, migrations, and cloud transformation initiatives. Design integrations between Teamcenter and enterprise applications including SAP, ERP, MES, CAD, CRM, and Manufacturing systems. Develop architecture documents, solution blueprints, and technical specifications. Provide technical leadership to development and implementation teams. Review customizations and ensure alignment with Teamcenter best practices. Establish governance, security, scalability, and performance standards. Drive digital thread and digital twin initiatives using PLM technologies. Perform architecture reviews, risk assessments, and technical recommendations. Support production issues, performance tuning, and optimization. Required Skills 10+ years of overall IT experience. 7+ years of hands-on experience with Siemens Teamcenter PLM. 3+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Architect. Strong expertise in: Teamcenter Architecture Teamcenter Active Workspace (AWC) BMIDE Workflow Designer Access Manager Dispatcher ITK SOA Teamcenter Services Teamcenter Data Model Experience with Teamcenter customization and configuration. Strong knowledge of Teamcenter deployment architecture and infrastructure. Experience designing high-availability and scalable Teamcenter environments. Hands-on experience integrating Teamcenter with: SAP Oracle ERP MES CAD applications (NX, CATIA, Creo, SolidWorks) Experience with REST APIs, SOA services, and middleware integrations. Strong understanding of PLM business processes including: Engineering Change Management BOM Management Document Management Product Structure Configuration Management Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is preferred. Strong knowledge of SQL, Oracle, or SQL Server databases. Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies is an advantage. Preferred Qualifications Siemens Teamcenter certifications preferred. Experience with Teamcenter X or cloud-native PLM solutions. Experience with Digital Manufacturing or Digital Thread initiatives. TOGAF or Enterprise Architecture certification is a plus. PMP or Agile certification is an advantage. Soft Skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
