About the role
- We are looking for a detail-oriented and bilingual Senior Accountant (English/French) to join our finance team at Uberall
- Working fully remotely, you will be responsible for the full cycle of day-to-day accounting operations — from cash management and accounts payable/receivable to employee expense reviews — while playing a key role in our monthly close process
- Post bank transactions and manage cash in/out in NetSuite
- Process bills, pay vendors, and manage vendor inquiries (Full-Cycle AP)
- Distribute customer invoices and manage customer requests (Full-Cycle AR)
- Review and approve employee expense reports in Rydoo
- Reconcile cash, prepaids, fixed assets, and AP/AR within the General Ledger
- Record and reconcile accruals and payroll journal entries
- Record intercompany journal entries and reconcile intercompany loans, AR, and AP
- Record, analyze, and reconcile revenue, deferred revenue, and accrued revenue entries
- File and pay Canadian federal and provincial sales tax returns and manage tax authority correspondence
- Perform quarterly bad debt analysis and record appropriate journal entries
- Support the preparation of annual tax returns and tax credit initiatives

- Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of Canadian federal and provincial tax regulations (GST/HST/QST); working knowledge of US/North American GAAP accounting standards is an asset
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a tech, SaaS, or multinational environment
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets; hands-on experience with NetSuite is a strong asset; familiarity with Salesforce, FloQast, Rydoo, or similar tools is a plus
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA designation (or in progress) preferred
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, high attention to detail, ability to manage competing deadlines, and comfortable working autonomously in a remote environment
