Your role as Nordic Spa Attendant is essential in delivering on our promise to provide exceptional guest experiences. In your role, you consistently exceed expectations by creating “picture perfect” moments for every guest. Key Focuses
Monitor and maintain the physical environment, always ensuring cleanliness and organization Demonstrate pride in work by creating positive energy, teamwork, excitement, and fun Meet the demands of a fast-paced environment through personal empowerment, using good judgment and the ability to multi-task Ensures locker rooms are consistently spotless and fully stocked at all times throughout shift; with a focus on turning lockers over efficiently and as quickly as possible Conducts scheduled walk throughs to maintain cleanliness of pool deck, relaxation spaces and fire pit walk through to ensure cleanliness and standards are always maintained; Completes deep cleaning tasks as assigned Refills and restocks guest amenities and laundry items in a timely manner Understands spaces that are clean, organized and in good repair supports the value that experiences should be as easy as water through fingers Completing work processes and checklists seamlessly support the Spa value that we respect our guest’s inherent desire to be at peace Personal communication, interactions and behaviors support the Spa value that everyone is welcome and everyone is equal Contributes to a collaborative workplace; supporting the Spa value of community, common goals, and acceptance Other duties as assigned Completes work processes and checklists that seamlessly support the Core Value of Quality: We are committed to achieving excellence and upholding the highest standards in product and service. Experience/Passions/Education
Previous Spa or Hospitality experience preferred First Aid Certificates (including CPR) preferred Excellent guest service, communication, and organizational skills Able to lift, move, and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly Passion for people and wellness Ability to focus on attention to detail, always remaining professional and courteous Must be highly self-motivated Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment and able to complete many diverse tasks concurrently
Working Conditions
This position operates in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent interaction with guests, team members, and other stakeholders. Due to 365-day-a-year operations, this position will require you to work a variety of shifts including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays and may involve extended hours during periods of high business demand. A significant portion of the role is performed outdoors in the fresh mountain air, with exposure to a wide range of weather conditions, including temperatures from -30°C to +30°C. The position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling, as well as occasional use of ladders, stairs, or ramps. The employee must be able to lift up to 30 lbs as required.
