Position Dates: Sept 2026

Salary Range: $54,866-$87,523 (dependent on education/certificate and experience) Who are you?

A successful candidate will:

• Be excited to use place-based learning to enhance competency-focused learning objectives. Our middle school program features an initiative called Going PLACES. Every Friday morning, our students go into the surrounding city, explore forests, parks, neighborhoods and rivers to meet people and explore places. This time is used to enhance student understanding and engagement to facilitate learning with wonder. Candidates would be excited to develop inquiry and hands-on learning opportunities to pair with subject-related outcomes.
• Possess or be in the process of attaining a British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate.
• Be eligible to work in British Columbia.
• Be willing to receive guidance from a mentor.
• Know effective strategies for and be familiar with UDL and place-based learning.
• Be required to demonstrate excellent communication skills with students, staff and parents.
• Have strong classroom management and organizational skills.
• Communicate a Biblical worldview throughout all sub jects.
