About the role
We are looking for Line Operators to join the Jokey North America team for the Summer, from May 4, 2026 to September 4, 2026!
The Jokey Group consists of 14 production sites in 11 countries, employing over 2,500 employees and supplying customers in over 80 countries. We manufacture high quality injection moulded plastic buckets and lids for food and non-food items. Using monoplastics, we aim to decrease our environmental impact, and strengthen our contributions towards the development of a sustainable and circular economy.
This position is on a set Continental schedule.
Night Shift 6:00pm to 6:00am.
Day Shift 6:00am to 6:00pm.
Position Responsibilities:
- Continuous visual inspection of products;
- Continuous quality control in accordance with the control plan;
- Document quality results and repot scrap production numbers;
- Supply the IML magazines with IML labels;
- Inform the Cell Lead-Hand when non-conformities occur;
- Remove product from the machines and pack the product pursuant to the production order;
- Hang two (2) order labels on the packaging unit. The order labels are printed with the production order number. The sequence of the pallets must be maintained;
- Transport the full pallets to the intermediate storage area;
- Transport the rejects to the scrap staging area;
- General cleanliness and order in the work area;
Qualifications:
- Communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Good math skills
- High attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Ability to stand and perform repetitive movements for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and practice safe bending and lifting techniques
- Team player
