Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 4:30pm

Position Overview: As aRecruitment Co-op student, you will gain hands-on experience supporting a fast-paced Talent Acquisition team. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in recruitment, offering exposure to the full lifecycle - from sourcing and screening candidates to coordinating interviews and supporting hiring decisions. You'll play an active role in identifying top talent while building strong relationships with candidates and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
-Recruitment Support (Primary Focus):

- Assist with full-cycle recruitment activities across various employee groups
- Post job advertisements and support proactive candidate sourcing efforts
- Conduct pre-screening calls to assess candidate qualifications and fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers
- Support background checks, credential verification, and pre-employment testing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system
- Assist in reviewing pre-hire documentation and ensuring a smooth hiring process
-Coordination & Reporting:

- Support the coordination of new hire onboarding and training schedules
- Compile recruitment metrics and assist with reporting (e.g., pipeline activity, time-to-fill)
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and recruitment-related documents
-Additional Tasks:

- Provide administrative support to the Recruitment team
- Collaborate with the HR team on general coordination and communication as needed (limited HR generalist exposure)
- Participate in employee engagement or recruitment events as required
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with a customer-service mindset
- Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Excel or data tracking tools is considered an asset
