Part-Time Sales Representative
About the role
We are looking for a motivated, organized, and proactive Part-Time Business Development Representative to support our growth across B2B technology, AI, telecom, channel partner, and professional services markets.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outreach, relationship-building, research, and identifying new business opportunities. You will help build prospect lists, start conversations with potential clients and partners, support event/sponsorship outreach, and track opportunities through the pipeline. The role is part-time and flexible, but requires consistency, strong communication skills, and the ability to follow up professionally. Responsibilities Research and build targeted prospect lists of potential clients, partners, sponsors, and referral sources. Identify decision-makers such as founders, CEOs, marketing leaders, sales leaders, partnership heads, and event/sponsorship contacts. Conduct outreach through LinkedIn, email, and other approved channels using provided messaging and templates. Follow up with prospects consistently and professionally to generate interest and book introductory calls. Support event, sponsorship, and partnership outreach for relevant campaigns and initiatives. Track all outreach activity, responses, follow-ups, and opportunities in the CRM or shared tracker. Provide weekly updates on outreach progress, interested leads, booked meetings, and next steps.
Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate has some prior experience in sales, business development, partnerships, lead generation, or client outreach. They do not need to be a senior salesperson, but they should be confident communicating with business decision-makers, researching companies, identifying opportunities, and following a structured outreach process.
A strong candidate will already understand how to build prospect lists, personalize outreach, follow up professionally, and track opportunities through a basic pipeline. Existing relationships or prior experience in B2B technology, AI, telecom, MSPs, channel partners, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, marketing services, or events would be a strong asset.
Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships, lead generation, client outreach, or a related role. Strong written communication skills and ability to engage professionally with business decision-makers. Comfortable using LinkedIn for prospecting, outreach, and relationship-building. Ability to research companies, contacts, industry trends, and business opportunities. Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage follow-ups and update trackers consistently. Comfortable using Google Sheets, Excel, CRM tools, or similar outreach/pipeline trackers. Able to follow instructions, use outreach templates, and work within a structured sales process. Prior experience or existing contacts in B2B technology, AI, telecom, MSP/channel, SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, marketing, or events is a strong asset.
Success Metrics Success in this role will be measured by: Number of qualified prospects researched and added to the tracker. Number of personalized outreach messages sent. Response rate from outreach. Number of warm conversations started. Number of qualified meetings or introductions booked. Quality and accuracy of CRM/tracker updates. Consistency of follow-up and weekly reporting.
Time Commitment This is a part-time role requiring approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and availability. Hours can be flexible, but the candidate must be available for regular check-ins and timely follow-up.
Compensation Compensation will be based on experience and time commitment.
The full-time equivalent salary range for this role is $45,000–$60,000 annually, pro-rated based on agreed part-time hours.
Additional performance-based bonuses for qualified meetings booked, sponsor or partner conversations generated, and closed business opportunities.
