Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa – Digby, Nova Scotia

Reporting to the Executive Chef, Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa is seeking ahighly experienced, hands-on Head Chefto lead and execute all culinary operations across our multi-outlet resort.

This is asenior operational leadership roleresponsible for theday-to-day performance, quality, and financial resultsof the kitchen. The successful candidate will take full ownership of culinary execution across restaurants, banquets, catering, and all food production areas.

This position is ideal for astrong, disciplined culinary leaderwho thrives in ahigh-volume, fast-paced hospitality environmentand is ready to take full accountability for both people and performance.

##What You Will Be Responsible For

• Leadingall daily kitchen operationsacross culinary function.

• Ensuringconsistent food quality, presentation, and execution standardsacross all outlets

• Managing and controllingfood costs, labour costs, and overall kitchen profitability

• Overseeingmenu execution, specials, and seasonal offerings

• Managinginventory, purchasing, and supplier coordination

• Leading, scheduling, and developing alarge kitchen teamincluding Sous Chefs and line staff

• Drivingstaff performance through coaching, training, and accountability

• Enforcingfood safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standardsat all times

• Collaborating with Front-of-House teams to ensure seamless service delivery

• Responding to guest feedback and ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction

##What We Are Looking For

-5–7 years of progressive culinary experience, with2–3 years in a senior leadership role(Head Chef / Chef de Cuisine)

• Proven experience managinghigh-volume, multi-outlet kitchens(banquets, catering, à la carte)
• Strong track record infood cost control, labour management, and overall kitchen performance
• Solid expertise inmenu execution, recipe standardization, and quality control
• Demonstrated ability tolead, develop, and hold teams accountable in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge ofinventory management, purchasing, and food safety regulations -Food Handler Certification required; Red Seal or equivalent preferred -Hands-on leaderwho can take full ownership of kitchen operations
