YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be a part of the Projects Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and storing or distributing as required;
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code;
• File requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to designated storage area. Record inventory in and out as required in JDE;
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for people;
• Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area for distribution;
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method;
• Open bales, crates and other containers;
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program;
• Assist in counting of physical inventory;
• Weigh, record, reconcile and count items for distribution within site ensuring conformance to company standards;
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed;
• Complete requisition forms to order supplies from other departments;
• Prepare parcels for mailing;
• Sweep, dust and mop -organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Proficient in Maths and English (Reading and writing);

• Understanding of SQL inventory data base systems, eg. JDE;

• Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications, especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

• Schedule: 7/7 schedule, at our Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, ON.
