Join our dynamic Diagnostic Imaging team in a part-time General Radiography Technologist position within a busy hospital environment. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated MRT looking to contribute to high-quality patient care while enjoying flexibility and work-life balance. This position currently is scheduled as day shifts and every other evening on weekends and Stats. This position allows opportunity to work in different areas that Xray services, including the OR, fluoroscopy, main dept. and ED.
Description:
Description: The Medical Radiation Technologist I (MRT) performs all routine radiographic/fluoroscopic, computed tomography and interventional procedures. The MRT I also produces radiographs of high diagnostic quality in an efficient and safe manner while attending to the diagnostic and care needs of patients undergoing diagnostic/therapeutic procedures. The MRT I is responsible for the provision of services in accordance with established standards, and the Mission, Vision, Values, policies and procedures of Covenant Health. This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.

Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications: Graduate of a Radiological Technology program or recognized equivalent required. Active registration with the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT) required. BLS (Level C - Health Care Provider) required.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Dependable and desire to learn and expand your skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Recent experience in an Acute care setting.
