About the role
Production Planner & ERP Specialist

As our operations continue to grow in the United States, we are seeking a detail-oriented and systems-driven Production Planner & ERP Specialist to support efficient production execution and maintain high-quality ERP data integrity.
What Will Be Your Role?
As a Production Planner & ERP Specialist, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing production workflows while ensuring the accuracy and integrity of ERP system data. You will play a key role in maintaining Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, and production planning parameters, while supporting manufacturing teams with accurate and timely information.
Working closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, Production, and IT, you will ensure seamless execution of production orders and continuous improvement of ERP-driven processes.
This role is ideal for a highly analytical and structured professional who enjoys working at the intersection of systems, data, and manufacturing operations.
What Do We Expect From You?
Core Responsibilities
- Preparation & Planning
- Create, maintain, and optimize BOMs, routings, item masters, and related ERP data
- Set and manage production planning parameters (lead times, order policies, safety stock, etc.)
- Prepare capacity planning data and collaborate with engineering on manufacturability
- Ensure ERP master data aligns with engineering documentation and customer requirements
- Develop production schedules based on forecasts and operational demand
- Maintain and validate ERP templates and digital structures supporting production workflows
- Execution & Control
- Create, release, and manage production orders in the ERP system
- Monitor material availability and resolve shortages or discrepancies
- Track production progress and adjust schedules to address bottlenecks
- Execute MRP/APS planning cycles and reschedule orders as needed
- Support inventory control activities including cycle counts and variance analysis
- Collaborate cross-functionally to implement engineering changes (CRTs) in ERP
- Provide user support and training for ERP-related functions
- Generate production reports and KPIs to support decision-making
- Drive continuous improvement in ERP utilization and data accuracy
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy and availability of production data, BOMs, routings, and work orders
- Maintain and communicate production schedules to stakeholders
- Support inventory accuracy through discrepancy analysis and corrective actions
- Act as first-line support for ERP-related issues and coordinate escalations
- Support on-time delivery and efficient production execution
- Promote continuous improvement in planning processes and ERP workflows
- Adhere to company quality, safety, and data protection standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong experience with ERP systems (Infor LN preferred), including BOMs, routings, planning, and inventory modules
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and production scheduling
- Knowledge of MRP/APS planning logic and capacity planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Teams, Outlook)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
- Understanding of inventory control, cycle counting, and root-cause analysis
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and maintain complex data structures and ERP hierarchies
