Locations: Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie, Jaffray and Cranbrook, BC
Employment Type: Casual
Salary Range: The current daily rate for this casual TTOC position ranges from $313.39 to $490.21, with placement on the grid based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification. -Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Job Summary:
Teachers Teaching On Call - Grades K-12
2026-2027 School Year
School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay) is seeking BC-certified teachers to work as Teachers Teaching On Call in the communities of Elkford, Sparwood, Fernie, Jaffray and Cranbrook, starting September 8, 2026.
Teachers with formal training/experience at the Elementary level in French Immersion and Learning Services will be given special consideration.
Teachers with formal training/experience in Secondary Math/Science/Industrial Education/French Immersion and Learning Services will be given special consideration.
