You independently operate and maintain at least one process, equipment or systems following autonomous maintenance (AM) standards and use your technical skills to improve line and/or system performance to meet business needs.
How you will contribute
You are a key ingredient in changing how the world snacks. With coaching, you will operate and maintain equipment to deliver on our safety, quality, cost, delivery, sustainability and morale targets. You will use execute all standard work processes on your equipment using AM (autonomous maintenance) and PM (progressive maintenance) standards and ensure that safety processes are observed, and that quality assurance activities are performed. You will understand the losses in their area and equipment and report them.

More about this role
Purpose of Role
To properly clean and set-up creaming machines and supplementary machinery such as hoppers, pumps and augers in support of start-ups and changeovers. Monitor and adjust creaming machinery to maintain efficient operation and ensure quality, target finish weight and thickness as per product specifications
Main Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation and set-up of the production lines- Monitor and adjust creaming machinery in order to maintain efficient operation. Mechanical aptitude is required, as this is a hands on position.- Monitor and inspect finished product at regular intervals to ensure that it meets quality, weight and thickness specifications and complete quality/production reports as required- Recommend upgrades to existing equipment and production lines- Report machinery problems and issues to the line mechanics and Line Lead- Assist mechanics with downtime maintenance repairs.- Immediately report any quality defects to the Line Lead.- Perform downtime reporting into the Zarpac system or manual recording sheets.- Enter cream data into SAP- Prepare and load raw materials into hoppers as needed (i.e., cream, jam, etc.). Manual shoveling is required to load cream into hoppers- Clean and sanitize production equipment/machinery- Maintain and care for equipment, such as lubrication.- Consistently maintain a clean and hazard free work area.- Responsible for performing other duties as assigned (i.e., packing, etc.)- Work with and around allergen products with safe practices
Safety
- Work in a safe competent manner, following rules and procedures which are outlined in the Plant Safety Handbook and Creamer Training- Report any unsafe condition to Supervisor. - Have working knowledge of various safety programs as per the New Hire Orientation.
Housekeeping & Sanitation
- Keep work area neat and tidy at all times- Personal hygiene, clean uniforms and hair nets are mandatory in a food environment.
Manufacturing Procedure
- Must take direction from Supervisor, Technical Specialist, Lead Hand or any competent person regarding any reasonable requirement not specified in the above description for the purpose of achieving manufacturing goals, quality standards and safety requirements.
The expected annualized salary range for this position is $45,128.00 to $68,630.00 depending on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a highly competitive bonus program with a target of 5% with the possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results, and potential shift premiums and / or overtime.
