Westland Insurance Group Ltd is growing and has a new opportunity for a New Business Advisor, Personal Lines Insurance at our Edmonton, AB office. In this role, you will represent the Westland brand and values while delivering exceptional insurance service and trusted advice to our clients.

As a New Business Advisor, Personal Lines Insurance, your primary focus will be identifying sales opportunities, recommending appropriate personal lines insurance solutions, and closing new business. You’ll leverage your insurance knowledge and strong sales skills to assess clients’ home, auto, and lifestyle insurance needs while contributing to Westland’s growth and success.

Why we’ll love You:
- Strong knowledge of personal lines underwriting with a proactive, sales-driven, client-focused approach
- Ability to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that meet client needs and business goals
- High attention to detail, strong communication skills with the ability to engage clients across multiple channels
- Organized, reliable, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Level 1 General Insurance License (with commitment to obtain Level 2 within the first year) and at least one year of insurance experience
- Commitment to ongoing professional development (CAIB or CIP is an asset)
Once here, you'll:
- Represent Westland’s brand and values while delivering trusted insurance advice and exceptional service
- Assess client needs and recommend home, auto, and lifestyle insurance solutions
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities to support growth
- Manage client inquiries, documentation, and concerns in line with policies and service standards
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with privacy and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with colleagues, management, and insurance partners to foster strong team dynamics
- Participate in sales initiatives, community events, and business development activities
