We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Night Auditor to join our Guest Services team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys a mix of guest service and behind-the-scenes operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly while the hotel sleeps.

What You Will Be Doing

As our Night Auditor, you will be the overnight face of the hotel while also ensuring the accuracy of daily financial and operational reporting.

You will:

• Provide warm, professional guest service, handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest inquiries with care and accuracy
• Resolve guest concerns confidently and ensure a positive experience every time
• Complete the nightly audit process, including balancing room revenue, food and beverage postings, and guest accounts
• Review and reconcile all daily transactions, identifying and correcting discrepancies
• Prepare and distribute end-of-day reports in a timely manner
• Process credit card authorizations and express check-outs
• Monitor reservations, including identifying duplicates and ensuring accuracy
• Support Guest Services operations, including wake-up calls and guest communication
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk environment
• Stay alert to any unusual activity and report concerns as needed

This is a key role that helps ensure operational accuracy, financial integrity, and a seamless guest experience.

What You Bring

We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

You have:

• A high school diploma (hospitality training is an asset)
• 1 to 2 years of hospitality experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with numbers
• Experience with POS systems or switchboards is an asset
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• The ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
• A positive attitude and a team-first mindset

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The work environment is a hotel setting, which has the following conditions: medium-high noise environment; high traffic area for internal guests, exposure to moving parts and equipment such as vacuum, steam cleaner, washer, and dryer. Potential exposure to theft and/or belligerent guests. Exposure to chemicals. Frequently working in areas of high temperatures around heavy equipment. Exposure to sharps and biohazards.
