Responsibilities

• Analyze current hardware asset management processes and identify opportunities for optimization across the asset lifecycle (request, procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement)
• Lead the documentation of functional designs, asset lifecycle workflows, process maps, and user stories specific to Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Evaluate and improve IT Asset Management (ITAM) and Service Management processes, ensuring alignment with HAM best practices and compliance requirements
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable ServiceNow HAM solutions, leveraging automation and out-of-the-box capabilities
• Design and implement solutions supporting asset lifecycle management, including inventory tracking, stockroom operations, procurement, and asset normalization
• Collaborate with stakeholders (procurement, finance, IT, and operations) to ensure accurate asset data, lifecycle visibility, and governance
• Act as a subject matter expert in ServiceNow HAM, advising on best practices such as asset reconciliation, contract management, and vendor integrations
• Configure and customize ServiceNow applications including workflows, asset models, stockrooms, catalogs, and user interfaces
• Develop and enhance automation for asset tracking, fulfillment, audits, and compliance reporting
• Support integrations with external systems such as procurement platforms, discovery tools, and CMDB to ensure data consistency and accuracy
• Perform platform enhancements including UI updates, system configuration, and workflow optimization related to asset management
• Participate in ServiceNow upgrades, ensuring HAM modules and customizations remain compliant and optimized
• Communicate insights, risks, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams and leadership
• Stay current on ServiceNow HAM capabilities, licensing models, and industry trends to continuously improve asset management maturity

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, MIS, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• ITIL 4 Foundation Certification or higher
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification
• 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow experience, including experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM) or Hardware Asset Management (HAM)
• Experience supporting or implementing asset lifecycle processes (procurement, inventory, deployment, refresh, disposal)
• Minimum of 2–4 years of experience delivering IT consulting, integration, or managed services
• Experience working in enterprise environments or professional services organizations
• At least one full lifecycle ServiceNow implementation, preferably including HAM or ITAM scope
• Strong understanding of CMDB, asset data models, and relationships between assets and configuration items
• Proven experience in business analysis, process mapping, and requirements gathering
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, client-facing environment

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Hardware Asset Management (HAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• Experience implementing ServiceNow HAM Pro, including normalization, reconciliation, and advanced asset visibility
• Familiarity with asset discovery tools and integrations (e.g., ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, Intune)
• Experience with procurement integrations, vendor management, and contract/license tracking
• Knowledge of ITAM best practices, including ISO 19770 standards
• Experience with workflow design, automation, and process re-engineering
• Technical experience with ServiceNow scripting and integrations (Client Scripts, ACLs, REST/SOAP APIs)
• Familiarity with supporting technologies such as LDAP, Active Directory, SSO, and cloud platforms
• Exposure to financial tracking of assets (depreciation, cost management, budgeting)

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $86,500 - $138,500

Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
