Job Description
Are you looking for an exciting full-time career, where development and high-performance are valued? AbbVie Canada is looking to connect with a Therapeutic Specialist to join our commercial sales team. This role is preferably based in the Edmonton area and will cover Northern Alberta and Northern Saskatchewan.
Our Therapeutic Specialists develop robust business plans to execute brand strategy and tactics in the field, deliver sales performance and effectively build strong customer relationships and support customer needs to maximize short- and long-term sales performance, while placing the patient at the center of any efforts and operating within AbbVie’s business code of conduct, policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:

Effective implementation of the marketing plan and customer focused tactics.

Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, marketing objectives in order to meet or exceed business objectives.

Developing and executing Key Account Development strategies for key physicians and centers.
-
Continuously build understanding of customer needs and expectations, territory landscape, competitors, market segments/dynamics, accounts, diseases, products and clinical expertise. Share this market intelligence information with district manager and respective team members, to achieve alignment, to anticipate environmental change and to optimize brand strategy and its execution.

Qualifications
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in sciences or related fields.

Consistent sales track record of success across various roles.
-
Strong organizational and analytical skills to set priorities, develop a field work schedule, monitor progress towards goals, and track details, data, information, and activities.

Proven ability to build relationships with key stakeholders.
-
Strong business acumen and analytical and decision-making skills.
-
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-

English must be at advanced level, oral and written.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience as a Specialty Sales Representative- definite asset.

Knowledge of HCV market- preferred asset.
-
Prior experience in Infectious Disease or Gastroenterology market- preferred asset.
