Position Overview: Join the Finning Canada family, part of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealer. We are currently recruiting a labourer to join the team at our Fort McKay shop facility. As a labourer, you will support efficient shop operations by performing low-complexity tasks contributing directly to workplace organization, safety, and process flow in alignment with Finning standards.

Job Description: Basic Functions:
- Moving equipment in and out of the shop
- Aid mechanics with the removal and installation of guards
- Washing and detailing of equipment
- General clean up of shop, yard and machines
- Other General Duties as required
Qualifications:
- Completion of grade 12
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn standardized work
- Self-starter able to follow directions, work well with others and has the motivation necessary to contribute positively to a team environment
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work under minimal supervision
- Experience with shop equipment is an asset; training provided
Note:
- This shop position is on a 14x14 day/night shift rotation based out of our Fort McKay facility
- Physical requirement ability to lift/move up to 40 Ibs
- Valid Driver's License with a successful recent driver abstract, due to safety requirements must be minimum 21 years of age
- Candidate selection will be in compliance with the terms of the current Collective Agreement
- Please note that any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement
