About the role
Noble is seeking hard working, motivated individuals to join our team as a millwright in the fast-paced mining industry. The successful individuals will be responsible for working as part of the Noble team to help develop and maintain the construction sites.
Position Title: Millwright
Location: Mosaic K3 Underground Position Type: This is a project-specific position with an anticipated duration of approximately 6 months. Schedule: Employees will work a two-week on two-week off night shift rotation. Travel/LOA: Compensation provided to and from the work site for each turnaround, provided all company travel eligibility requirements are met. As well as a daily living out allowance for employees who meet and provide eligibility requirements.
Closing: Position will remain open until a successful candidate is hired
Responsibilities
Operating various pieces of equipment Follow Noble and Mosaic safety policies Participate in safety meeting and toolbox talk with supervision Gathering and staging various materials to complete construction task Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures Install, align, dismantle and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tank, conveyors, furnaces and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts Operate machine tools such as grinders, impacts, etc, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery Clean, lubricate and perform other routine maintenance work on machinery
Job Skills
Must hold a valid class 5 license Underground experience preferred Journeyman Ability to work well with others in a team environment
