Paradox Access Solutions is seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our team!

WAGE: $28.00 per hour

PROJECT LOCATION: Estevan, SK

The role focuses on site and yard maintenance, washing and cleaning heavy equipment, and providing hands-on support to our shop team. A Skilled Labourer must be able to lift and carry heavy objects repeatedly and for prolonged periods of time.

HOW YOU’LL CONTRIBUTE (RESPONSIBILITIES)

• Perform site and yard maintenance to keep the operation clean, organized, and safe
• Wash, pressure-wash, and clean heavy equipment, trucks, and access matting
• Assist shop personnel and mechanics with day-to-day tasks and basic repairs
• Sort, stack, load, and unload access mats and other materials
• Operate basic hand and power tools, as well as pressure washers and small equipment
• Willingness to learn small equipment operation
• Signal heavy equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials
• Load, unload, and identify materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations according to direction from supervisors
• General cleanup of debris, waste materials, and shop areas
• Provide assistance to other craft workers as needed
• Read instructions or specifications to determine work activities
• Work in adherence to Occupational Health and Safety legislation
• Other duties may be assigned as required

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? (REQUIREMENTS)

• An asset if already obtained valid CSTS, H2S, and First Aid & CPR certifications
• General knowledge of raking, shoveling, housekeeping, etc.
• Knowledge of the safe operation of basic hand and power tools
• Knowledge of workplace safety policies and procedures including safe lifting and handling
• Effective verbal and listening communication skills
• Demonstrate sound work ethics
• Physically able to perform job duties
• Ability to pass Drug, Alcohol and 50lb Fitness to work test
