Labourer / Operator
The City of Flin Flon is seeking a dedicated and reliable Whitney Forum Operator to join our team.
This hands-on postion is responsible for the day-to-day operation, cleaning, maintenance, and ice-making activities at the Whitney Forum. Duties include operating the ice resurfacing machine, maintaining facility equipment, assisting with events and rentals, and ensuring the facility remains safe and welcoming for all users.
Qualifications
valid Class 5 Drivers Licence Grade 12 education or equivalent Refrigeration Operator ticket or willing to obtain Class 5 Power Engineer ticket or willing to obtain Stong maintenance and trouble shooting skills Experience in plumbing, carpenty, mechanical, electrical or facility maintenance is considered an asset Works well independently and with the public
This position may require shift work, weekends, and occasional work at other Parks & Recreation facilities.
