About the role
The Opportunity
Keyano College’s University Studies department is currently seeking Contract Instructors to teach the following courses for the Spring 2026 semester (May 4 – June 16, 2026):

PSYCH 104 - Basic Psychological Processes
Note: this is not a remote or hybrid work opportunity, you will be required to work on campus and relocate to Fort McMurray, AB.

Duties & Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be required to:
- Primarily teach their specific courses across the curriculum
- Maintaining office hours and student mentorship/engagement
- Maintaining professional competence and knowledge of subject matter
Qualifications

Minimum Master’s of Arts & Humanities or a related field. A degree is Psychology will be considered an asset.

Minimum of 2 years cumulative post-secondary teaching experience
-
Proficient with the use of learning technologies
-
Excellent classroom management and instructional skills
-
Demonstrated excellent communication, planning, time management, and organizational skills
-
Dependable and resourceful team member with a proven track record of managing multiple competing priorities with a calm professional approach

Commitment to inclusion and diversity

Compensation and Benefits
- Placement on the wage grid is reflective upon educational and experiential qualifications.
