École McTavish High School is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our instructional team in the role of Junior High Math/Science & Electives.

Requirements: The ideal candidate would possess the following background, philosophy, and experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Math or Science, Bachelor of Education.

Desired Qualifications/Skills: It will be an asset to have:

• Knowledge of teaching math and science at the junior high school level.
• Ability to work in a team environment with staff and parents.
• A base knowledge of differentiated instruction techniques.
• Effective organization skills and classroom management.
• Ability to utilize technology as an instructional tool.
• An ability to design and implement Individual Program Plans for special needs students.
• A willingness to participate in the school community beyond the classroom
• An interest in teaching a wide variety of electives.
• A commitment to continuous professional growth and a strong ability to connect and build relationships with high school students.
• Open to teaching a variety of elective classes that best suit the successful applicant.
