What the Role Involves
- Inspect, test, repair, and maintain vehicle fire suppression systems on heavy and off-road equipment
- Service fire extinguishers, emergency lighting, alarms, and safety systems
- Handle scheduled & emergency service calls on-site
- Complete digital reports (iPad) with clear notes and recommendations
- Work directly with customers – keep them informed and safe
- Support inventory and maintain service readiness
- Follow and promote strong safety practices every day
What You Bring
- Experience with vehicle fire suppression systems (VFSS) (strong asset)
- Mechanical background (heavy equipment, automotive, or similar)
- Basic electrical & troubleshooting skills
- Comfortable reading schematics and manuals
- Confident using iPads / mobile tech
- Strong communication & customer-facing mindset
- Valid driver’s license & clean abstract
- Able to pass background & drug & alcohol testing
Physical & Site Requirements
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Work in tight spaces & at heights on large equipment
- Comfortable on uneven terrain and long site days
- Sit/drive for extended periods
- Pass ongoing site access testing (client requirement)
