About the role
AS A REGISTERED NURSE (RN), you’ll be responsible for providing total nursing care for all Emergency Department patients as identified in the nursing standards of care. The RN must have knowledge of emergency procedures and equipment while providing patient and family education, collaborating with other health team personnel to maintain professional nursing practices, and providing customers with quality health care. Each employee is responsible for providing good customer service to employees, patients, families, visitors, physicians, volunteers, vendors, etc..
Qualifications
Current Pennsylvania Registered Nursing License or Temporary Practice Permit required Two years of Med/Surg experience preferred Basic Life Support (BLS) certification obtained within 3 months of hire required Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Critical Care Management certifications obtained with 6 months of hire preferred; mandatory to be obtained within 1 year of hire Experience in Cerner software preferred Previous Trauma Dept. experience preferred
