Senior .Net Developer - ICM
About the role
We are looking for a Senior .Net Developer with extensive experience in designing and developing new components of ICM that are of moderate to high complexity.
The ideal candidate is capable of configuring existing ICM components per the function specifications and requirements. Complete unit testing to ensure error free software components and support additional levels of testing, including Function Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing. Works under the guidance of the Solution Architect.
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Participation and contribution to solution development, estimating and preparation of technical aspects of the Solution Overview.
- Working closely with the functional analysts to understand the business requirements, system designs and functional specifications of the to-be developed/configured system components and providing insight and seek clarification as required.
- Development of complex data structures and system components and evaluating alternatives and appropriate solutions for technical challenges.
- Creation of technical solutions that perform efficiently, are free of errors and will be easy to maintain in the future.
- Assisting / coaching other developers when solving technical challenges.
- Defining and executing thorough and complete Unit Tests to ensure error free software components.
- Supporting formal testing, (Function Testing, System Testing, and User Acceptance Testing) and triaging, troubleshooting and resolving deficiencies.
- Identification and estimation of options to resolve defects, as required.
- Contribution to defining delivery processes, technical principles and approaches.
- Identifying and assessing Issues and Risks to the Project Manager.
- Contribution to the planning and execution of corrective actions.
- Reporting progress towards completion of assigned tasks, including estimate to complete.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must Have
-
8+ years IT experience including at least 5 years in a developer capacity

Expert in LaMPSS and/or ICM architecture. In-depth knowledge of more complex / relevant functional areas.

Known for providing design advice to Functional Analysts to solve complex requirements.

Significant experience in developing n-Tier web business applications using Microsoft web technologies including ASP.NET, SQL and C# .NET. Experienced with XML, XPath, JavaScript, jQuery. Contributed to architecture standards.

Significant experience with Microsoft Visual Studio. In-depth experience with the ICM / LaMPSS use of Microsoft TFS.

Exceptional SQL skills. Has developed high quality PL/SQL to address complex requirements.

Experience developing reports with Microsoft Reporting Services.

Significant experience defining and using user interface and development standards found in web browser applications (.Net in particular).

Significant experience supporting formal testing efforts. Thorough unit tester produces software that performs as expected.

Previous experience working on the relevant functional areas impacted in this release is considered an asset.
CGI is providing a reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role. The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $60,000.00–$120,000.00 This role is a future opportunity.
