Standard Work Hours: Mon - Fri | 7:45 am - 4:00 pm | 36.25 hours per week (Summer Hours)
Salary Range: $50,149 - $62,686 per annum
YOUR FOCUS
Reporting to the Senior Director of Service Transformation & Experience, the Communications Officer is responsible for helping plan, develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate ITS operational and project communications.
Assist in the planning and implementation of ITS project communications.
Gather, determine, and create plans on how to deliver information best.
Determine how to monitor and evaluate communications plans. Collect and report on decided measurements.
Engage with audiences. Write and share content, create short videos, collaborate on design layouts and image development, work on printed content and develop surveys.
Deliver communication plans that meet delivery schedules.
Keep up-to-date with communication channels, methods UNB communities can be reached, and changes to communication standards.
Monitor standard ITS communications through footprints tickets and outage postings.
Plan service and emergency communications.
WHAT YOU BRING
Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, or another related field.
2 - 5 years experience in communications and marketing.
Additional Strengths
Bachelor's degree would be considered a strong asset.
Experience in technology communications and marketing would be an asset.
Skilled in the use of social media platforms.
Familiar with content management systems would be an asset.
Excellent writing, editing and communications skills.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, planning, assessment, and time management skills.
