Key Responsibilities

-          Assemble and weld high-pressure equipment using MIG (GMAW) and Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) processes.

-          Work with various metals, including stainless steel, carbon steel, and aluminum.

-          Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances.

-          Adjust welding parameters according to the specific requirements of each project.

-          Verify the quality of assemblies through visual inspections and appropriate testing methods.

-          Prepare materials and organize the work area in accordance with safety standards.

-          Comply with manufacturing standards, customer specifications, and health and safety regulations.

-          Perform any other related duties as required.

Requirements

-          Vocational diploma (DEP) in High-Pressure Welding or a Welding and Fabrication diploma combined with relevant experience.

-          Experience in high-pressure welding.

-          Proficiency in various welding processes.

-          Strong ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.

-          Ability to demonstrate welding skills through an on-site practical welding test.

-          ASME welding certification cards are considered an asset.

-          Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.

-          Physical ability to lift, move, and handle heavy metal components.

Salary: Between $28 and $36 per hour, depending on experience
Day Shift Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., or Monday to Thursday, 10-hour shifts
