About the Role

As Welder / Fabricator you will:

• Perform MIG and stick welding for fleet repair and fabrication work;
• Cut and prepare materials using torch and plasma cutting equipment;
• Fabricate and repair components using steel, stainless steel, and aluminum;
• Assist with custom fabrication and structural repairs on equipment and fleet assets;
• Work both independently and with mechanics and shop staff on repair projects;
• Occasionally travel to field locations for on-site repairs;
• Maintain a safe and organized workspace.

About You

This is a role that is ideal for someone who is comfortable working with truck and trailer frame repairs, structural welding, and custom fabrication projects for fleet equipment. Your skills and experience include:

• Strong experience with MIG and stick welding;
• Proficient using torch and plasma cutting equipment;
• Ability to weld steel, stainless steel, and aluminum;
• Solid fabrication skills with strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment;
• Comfortable working both in the shop and occasionally on-site in the field;
• Able to adapt to changing repair priorities in a busy shop environment;
• Reliable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
