Jim Pattison Toyota Downtown is looking for a reliable and motivated Lot Attendant to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in starting a career in the automotive industry and gaining experience in a busy dealership environment. In this role, you’ll help keep the dealership organized and ensure vehicles are properly positioned, clean, and ready for customers. You’ll work closely with our Sales and Operations teams while gaining valuable experience and learning more about the automotive industry.

A day in the life…

Lot Attendants are an essential part of our dealership team, helping maintain an exceptional vehicle experience for both customers and staff. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and taking pride in keeping operations running smoothly.

Your responsibilities will include

Moving vehicles throughout the dealership, including showroom and lot placement. Transporting vehicles between the dealership and vehicle storage areas. Supporting new and pre-owned vehicle deliveries. Fueling vehicles and maintaining battery charging requirements. Ensuring showroom vehicles meet manufacturer standards for cleanliness, presentation, and placement. Maintaining an organized and presentable dealership lot and vehicle inventory. Completing general dealership support tasks as required. Reporting any vehicle concerns, damage, or lot-related issues promptly. What We're Looking For... Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Positive attitude with a strong commitment to teamwork. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, physically active environment. Reliable, punctual, and dependable work habits. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Willingness to learn and assist across different areas of the dealership. What We Offer... Competitive hourly wage of $20.62 per hour. This position is unionized and subject to the terms of the applicable collective agreement.
