Our partner, PMC Energy, is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Technician to join its team in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a dedicated HVAC professional ready to make a real impact on energy efficiency and sustainability in commercial and multi-family residential buildings.

Overview
As an HVAC Service Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of HVAC systems across commercial and multi-family residential buildings. You'll perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics while delivering exceptional service and contributing to PMC Energy's mission of outstanding, environmentally responsible energy solutions.
This role is ideal for a skilled technician with 5+ years of journeyman experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, has strong diagnostic abilities, and is passionate about energy efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Perform HVAC system service work, including maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics in commercial and multi-family residential buildings. Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system issues, providing timely and effective solutions. Collaborate with clients and team members to ensure efficient service delivery and customer satisfaction. Adhere to industry codes, safety regulations, and company standards to ensure safe and compliant service work. Maintain accurate records of service work, including parts used and hours worked. Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as an HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years as a journeyman. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing HVAC system issues. Air conditioning and refrigeration license required. Gas certification considered an asset. Strong commitment to safety protocols and industry standards. Positive and proactive approach to work, with excellent problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Valid driver's license required.
