As a Shredder Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our shredding equipment. Your role will involve removing debris and ensuring optimal performance. What you're responsible for:Clean and maintain shredding equipment, including conveyor systems, screens, magnets, and other components, to ensure optimal performance and prevent contaminationRemove unwanted materials, such as non-metallic objects, dirt, and other contaminants, from the shredder and its surrounding areas to prevent damage and maintain efficiencyFollow all safety protocols and guidelines, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to maintain a safe work environmentAdhere to lockout/tagout procedures and other safety practicesMaintain cleanliness and organization in the shredder area, ensuring the removal of debris, proper waste disposal, and general housekeeping tasksQualificationsTo join our team:Previous experience in an industrial cleaning or maintenance role is preferredPhysical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and manual dexterityAttention to detail and the ability to spot and remove contaminants from the shredder equipment effectivelyAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamGood communication skills to interact with supervisors, operators, and other team members
Compensation: from CAD 25.75 - hourly
