The College of New Caledonia requires a sessional instructor to teach in the 4th Class Power Engineering Program.
Skills & Qualifications

A minimum 4th class Interprovincial Certification of Competency
-
Five years’ experience working as a Power Engineer in a number of Power Plant/Heating Plant settings

Ability to deal effectively with students on an individual or group basis

Preference will be given to those candidates who are current in the field with operational maintenance, and who have proven teaching and/or supervisory experience

Completion of the Provincial Instructor’s Diploma Program (PIDP) is an asset.
You will promote a positive work atmosphere and communicate in a professional manner that demonstrates mutual respect with students and colleagues
You will be part of a team actively engaged in contributing to and accomplishing the vision, mission, and goals of the College and in supporting the aspirations and needs of our learners and communities.
Hiring criteria shall include professional qualifications, professional experience, teaching experience, college contributions, community awareness and personal attributes so far as they are applicable to the job classification in question.
