Shift Schedule: Day / Night / Weekends

We’re seeking a dedicated**Assisted Living Worker (ALW)**who demonstrates compassion, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to supporting residents’ independence, dignity, and overall well-being through person-centered care.

What You'll Do

• Provide personal care services to residents in accordance with individualized service plans (bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility and hygiene duties)

• Respond promptly to resident needs and requests for assistance

• Support and participate in social, recreational, and wellness activities (outings, special events and socialization)

• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, and meal and tray service as required.

• Maintain accurate documentation and follow care protocols.

• Promote a safe environment by adhering to safety and infection control policies and procedures

• Contribute positively as a reliable and supportive team member.

What You Bring

• Current registration and in good standing as a Health Care Assistant with the British Columbia Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry (BCCACHWR);
• Certificates in First Aid and Food Safe
• Effective communication, interpersonal and organizational skills;
• Ability to work independently and as a team-player;
• Physically capable of lifting up to 10kgs;
• Proven computer experience;
• Successful clearance of a vulnerable sector-criminal record check
• A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
• A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
