The Opportunity

Biweekly Hours: 70

Hourly Rate of Pay: $21.83

Location: 12603 135 Avenue, Edmonton, AB

Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Therapy or Program Manager, Rehabilitation (Manager), the Rehabilitation Aide provides occupational or physical therapy services to assigned residents in accordance with the plan of care. The Rehabilitation Aide provides support, advocacy, and choice to residents and their families to ensure the highest quality of person centered care achievable within the Mission, Vision, Values and Behaviour Standards of SCF. Demonstrates ongoing competence utilizing knowledge, skill, judgment and evidence- informed practice in caring for the older adult. Ensures compliance with continuing care health service standards, employment and safety-related statutes, legislation, codes and regulations, and SCF policies.

Consider applying if you are currently enrolled in Diploma in Rehabilitation therapy or equivalent; can read, write, and speak English effectively; and have strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Canada Summer Job Grant Youth Requirements

Be between 18 and 30 years of age at the start of the employment;
