About the role
We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled 4th or 5th Year HVAC/R Apprentice to join our growing team. This opportunity is ideal for a driven individual who is looking to further develop their career in a supportive, safety-focused, and professional environment.
Position Overview
As an HVAC/R Service Technician or Piping Installer, you will work alongside experienced journeypersons and project teams to install, service, and maintain HVAC/R systems across a variety of commercial and industrial projects. You will be expected to demonstrate strong technical aptitude, a commitment to quality workmanship, and a proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, servicing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC/R systems
- Perform piping installation, repairs, and system modifications in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Support commissioning and start-up activities
- Adhere to all safety standards, company policies, and union requirements
- Maintain accurate service and work documentation
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, teammates, and clients
- Represent the company professionally on job sites
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered 4th or 5th Year HVAC/R Apprentice (313A)
- Member in good standing with UA Local 787
- G2 Gas Technician License or higher (required)
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent work ethic and commitment to safety
