About the role
We are seeking a 310T Licensed Field Service Technician to support bus deliveries and provide in‑field service to our customers.
This role is ideal for a motivated technician who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and direct customer interaction.
You will play a key role in vehicle acceptance, warranty support, retrofits, and technical training while serving as a trusted liaison for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acceptance and in-field service support for bus deliveries
- Assist customers with warranty-related issues and service needs
- Perform retrofit work and support suppliers during troubleshooting
- Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining buses
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve mechanical issues
- Ensure all work complies with safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities
- Communicate assignment status daily to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain tracking documents and ensure all repairs are documented and closed in Service Cloud
- Learn and effectively use all required software systems to complete daily work
- Participate in ongoing training programs to expand technical knowledge and skills
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma in Heavy-Duty Mechanics or related field
- Valid 310T License (required)
- Strong interest in heavy-duty vehicle maintenance and field service work
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and follow instructions
- Working knowledge of tools and equipment used in vehicle maintenance
- Good physical stamina, including the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
- Prior experience in the automotive or transportation industry
