About the role
New Grad Pricing Analyst - Oakville, Ontario
This posting is for a current vacancy.
We are seeking a Pricing Analyst to join our acquisition team at an exciting and pivotal stage of growth. This role plays a meaningful part in supporting thoughtful, data informed decision making through rigorous financial analysis, clear reporting, and practical insight. You will serve as a trusted partner to our leadership team while contributing to how we continue to grow, improve, and operate more effectively across our portfolio.
As a member of a high performing Acquisition team, you will support the development, implementation, and management of pricing strategies across the Southwestern Ontario apartment portfolio through analysis of the economic, demographic, and competitive landscape. In conjunction with the operations, sales, and asset management teams, you will assist in tailoring pricing strategies to achieve short and long-term organizational goals. You will also work collaboratively with the on new investment opportunities and value creation strategies for the existing portfolio.
In addition to the duties typically expected of a high performing junior level pricing analyst, responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the development and implementation of portfolio-wide pricing strategies to meet organizational objectives.
- Effectively communicating key insights with respect to pricing strategy to senior-level stakeholders within the organization.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance revenues throughout the organization.
- Creating, maintaining, and updating detailed financial models on:
- Key competitors;
- Demographics;
- Economic Drivers;
- Internal metrics.
- Maintenance and stewardship of internal databases and systems driving revenue and business performance.
- Participating in underwriting market rents and due diligence for portfolio investment decisions.
- Regular travel for site visits to conduct on-the-ground market research.
- Coordination between various departments on organizational projects and objectives.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Business with a specialization in Finance or a related discipline
- One to two years of relevant professional experience is an asset however new graduates are welcome to apply
- Strong understanding of the multifamily rental market and applicable regulatory environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and solid working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to independently research and interpret complex information
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions
- Highly organized with the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.

The approximate salary range for this role will depend on what you bring to the table. Our expectations are $50,000.00 to $60,000.00 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including market competitiveness, skills, experience, educational attainment, professional designations, internal equity, and other job-related requirements.
