Our client, a growing Quebec-based company specializing in the integration of the Odoo ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system, is looking for an experienced accounting functional analyst to assist its clients with the implementation, training, and support of the accounting module.

In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for all accounting-related needs of the clients. You will analyze their internal processes, propose tailored solutions, and lead interactive training workshops to maximize the use of Odoo modules.

The job title posted may differ from the internal title, to facilitate job searches in the market.

The tasks include:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients' accounting needs.

• Analyze and translate accounting processes into functional solutions in Odoo.

• Configure and set up the accounting, invoicing, and expenses modules in Odoo.

• Document accounting processes, financial flows, and ERP settings.

• Lead user workshops and train clients on accounting modules.

• Import, verify, and validate client accounting data in Odoo.

• Configure product categories and manage automated inventory.

• Test, validate, and deploy accounting features.

• Provide user support and resolve questions related to the accounting ERP.

• Prepare and present demonstrations of the modules and new features.

• Identify and suggest optimizations to accounting processes to maximize efficiency.

• Ensure data security and compliance with accounting best practices.

• Participate in follow-up meetings and support strategic decisions of the team.

• Mentor and support new functional accounting analysts (buddy).

• Keep up with Odoo updates and ensure ERP best practices are followed.

• Perform all other related tasks.

Requirements:

• University degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting or as a functional accounting analyst.

• Experience with complex bank reconciliations and investigating discrepancies.

• Experience in ERP software integration is an asset.

• Comfortable using various technological tools.

• Knowledge of Odoo software is an asset.

• Ability to meet deadlines.

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for sharing knowledge.

• Proficiency in French and functional English, both oral and written, to assist English-speaking clients nationwide (English – 30% of the time).

• A love for numbers and accounting processes.

Salary: Starting at $33 per hour, depending on experience. Schedule: Flexible hours, between 30 to 40 hours per week. Status: Permanent.
