About the role
-
Assist in upkeep and maintenance to fleet (trucks and trailers)
-
Perform maintenance and maintain records of work completed
-
Regular operation and basic preventative maintenance of breathing air compressor
-
Read and interpret manuals, schematics, prints, etc.
-
Assist with inventory management and ordering of parts and supplies
-
Organize the yard and shop, and place defective equipment out of service
-
Collaborate cross-functionally to support all departments and ensure seamless operation, and highest quality of equipment is maintained
-
Follow all guidelines and preventative maintenance schedules outlined by the Company and manufacturers
-
Participate in facility audits, toolbox meetings and ERP drills
-
General grounds keeping in various weather conditions, including snow removal
-Must be able to consistently lift 50 pounds or more
- 2 years of vehicle and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Experience operating skid steer and hauling trailers and equipment
- Experience operating various hand and power tools
- Experience with breathing air equipment
- Familiarity with DOT and TDG guidelines
- H 2 S Alive, CSO, First Aid and CPR
- Successfully complete drug and alcohol screening
- Valid class 5 driver’s license and ability to provide driver’s abstract
