The Warehouse Supervisor is a key member of the leadership team for a brand new 300,000 sq foot facility. In this role, you will directly supervise and coordinate all activities within the distribution center to achieve expected results. Key responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; employee scheduling, performance, training, recruiting and retention; sanitation, quality, safety, and environmental activities.

The Warehouse Supervisor will work closely with the cross-functional teams, including Quality, Safety, Maintenance, Transportation, and Resupply; fulfilling all responsibilities in an organized and safe manner and in accordance with the company’s policies, OSHA, and regulatory requirements.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...

Supervises all aspects of warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory and sanitation. Provides guidance, training and direction to warehouse support staff with a focus on development, succession and growth opportunities. Responsible for timely and accurate systematic transactions, including receipts, shipments, inventory and customer claims. Supervises overall accuracy throughout the distribution center activities, with emphasis on customer’s expectations; claims, returns and compliance fees. Plans, directs and coordinates distribution center activities within assigned shift and department. Ensures proper staffing and shift coverage along with proper shift handoff and collaboration. Responsible for achieving warehouse related KPIs, including inventory accuracy, on-time shipments, fill rate, order quality and accuracy, product rotation, traceability, warehouse and equipment utilization, warehouse efficiencies and compliance. Identifies process improvements and cost savings opportunities. Develops and coaches warehousing teams’ collective and individual capabilities, through proactively supporting recruiting, retention, training, communications, and performance management practices. Supports and drives safety performance, including employee, building and food safety programs, training and initiatives. Adheres to company’s policies and procedures while supporting Saputo’s values and ensuring compliance. Supports operational efficiency goals and objectives. Participates in cross-functional projects as needed. Supports change and ensures sustainment.

Have a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in Distribution or Supply Chain capacity. Health and Safety, and Workers Compensation compliance experience is preferred. This includes governing critical enterprise data domains (e.g., core master data, supply chain and operational data, and other key business data assets) to ensure consistency, quality, and enable trusted, data-driven insights across the organization. This work includes:

Managing a team, setting, and reviewing annual goals, assigning project responsibilities, coaching performance and supporting growth, and creating the conditions for a positive, high-performing team to thrive. Establishing and governing an enterprise master data governance implementation roadmap. Establishing and implementing a comprehensive, enterprise-wide framework for master data governance, equipped with the necessary tools. This framework is primarily aimed at enhancing data quality and safeguarding sensitive information. Facilitate the definition of roles and responsibilities related to master data governance and ensuring clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s global master data. Facilitate the development and implementation of master data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements across the enterprise. Defining indicators of performance (KPIs) and quality metrics and monitoring compliance with standards and policies. Establishing and performing data quality controls to ensure data is accurate and reliable. Establishing governance training programs and awareness for employees. Minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP Master Data (e.g. Material, Vendor, Customer and GL) Minimum of 5 years of experience managing and coaching a team. Strong knowledge of data governance principles, best practices, and industry standards. Proficiency in data modeling, data profiling, and data quality assessment. Experience with data governance tools and technologies (e.g., SAP MDG, SAP Data Services, Info-Steward, Collibra, Informatica, etc.) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus. Able to operate in a complex, fast-paced environment with interdependencies spanning multiple work-streams, teams, business functions, geographies, time zones, & language. Ability to work independently ensuring alignment to our IT strategy. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
