Food Servers required for Seniors' Living Facility.

Green Acres Foundation is seeking a dynamic multi-tasker, with a strong customer service skills to work in the position of Food Services.

The ideal candidate should be a team-oriented person who has a flexible, willing, and positive attitude.

About the position:

• This is a casual position
• The position offers an 18-30 hours per week, but more shifts may be offered based on availability.
• Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
• Shifts to cover in this position are: 6:30am to 2:30pm, 7am to 1pm, 11am to 6pm, 2:30pm to 10:30pm and/or 4pm to 10pm.

Our Food Service staff are responsible for the following:

• Preparing the dining room for meal service and setting tables
• Serving meals
• Cleaning duties, including cleaning the dining room after each meal
• Washing pots, pans, dishes, and utensils
• Stocking kitchenettes
• Assisting cooks with kitchen duties and food preparation
• Assisting residents with medications
• Other duties as required.

Requirements:

• Current satisfactory Criminal Record Check (within the last 6 months)
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
• A flexible, willing, and positive attitude

Food Safe Certification, First Aid Certification and WHMIS Training is an asset.
