CO-OP Student, Capacity Planning & Optimization
Key Responsibilities
-
Assist in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting production and process data
-
Support the development of capacity models
-
Define process turnaround times (TAT) and analyze their distribution to identify trends and improvement
-
Help with the identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions to optimize workflow
-
Prepare reports and presentations on findings and recommendations
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, planning, and engineering
Qualifications
-
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Industrial Engineering or a related field
-
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with PowerBi, Python and SQL is an asset
-
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
-
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
-
Previous co-op or internship experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is an asset
