About the role
The Company
BBO is a full‑service law firm that has provided legal advice and representation across Southwestern Ontario since 1950. The 60‑person office is located in the London City Centre building in the heart of downtown. The workplace culture is professional, collaborative, and maintains a healthy work–life balance.
Role Overview
The Senior System Administrator is responsible for the firm’s core technology infrastructure, ensuring that systems, networks, and security controls remain reliable, secure, and aligned with business needs. While the Junior IT Administrator focuses on help desk activities, this role leads infrastructure planning, implementation, and operations.
The firm continues to modernize its environment through AI adoption, automation, and ongoing system upgrades. The Senior System Administrator will design, select, deploy, and maintain on‑premises infrastructure, with limited cloud components.
BBO's business users rely heavily on Microsoft Office and several industry‑specific applications. The Senior System Administrator will develop expertise in these tools, support end‑user needs, and seek out and provide technology solutions that enable efficient business operations.
