As a Security Guard in an Industrial site you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of a busy industrial and logistics facility. From monitoring surveillance systems and tracking site activity to identifying potential risks before they escalate, you will be a key part of ensuring smooth and secure operations across a large-scale warehouse and distribution environment.

Hourly wage rate of $20.81/hr We will invest in you, covering the costs of continuing education through GardaWorld Academy Flexible schedules with various shifts available Career growth opportunities at GardaWorld Full-time schedule / Monday - Friday from 12am - 8am OR Sunday - Thursday from 11pm - 7am Uniform provided at no cost
Responsibilities For Security Guard In An Industrial Site
Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
Qualifications For Security Guard In An Industrial Site
Be authorized to work in Canada Hold a valid BC security license First aid certification - an asset Strong report writing skills Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus Strong proficiency with technology Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
