Job Overview

**Position Schedule:**Full-Time

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Actions and GIC Process Generalist to join our operations team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a wide range of corporate action events and GIC transactions while supporting overall operational efficiency and client service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and reconcile corporate action events including mandatory and voluntary reorganizations, mergers spinoffs, dividends and rights offering

• Manage end-to-end GIC processing including issuances, maturities and redemptions

• Review and validate corporate action notification and ensure entitlement calculations

• Connect with Internal Teams (tax, compliance, service) to ensure proper handling and escalation of examples transactions

• Monitor and resolve discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner

• Maintain accurate records and support audit and reporting requirements

Skills/Requirements

Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience in corporate actions processing within a financial institution broker dealer or custodial environment

• Demonstrated hands on experience with mandatory and voluntary corporate action transaction types

• Working knowledge of GIC products and fixed income processing

• Familiarity with industry platforms and settlement systems (e.g. DTCC, CDS, DTC, or equivalent)

• Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with back-office or operational systems is an asset

• Experience with REOR or similar reorganization processing systems

• Exposure to dividend reinvestment and DRIP processing workflows

• Knowledge of tax implications related to corporate action events
