Job Overview
**Position Schedule:**Full-Time
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Corporate Actions and GIC Process Generalist to join our operations team.
In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of a wide range of corporate action events and GIC transactions while supporting overall operational efficiency and client service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and reconcile corporate action events including mandatory and voluntary reorganizations, mergers spinoffs, dividends and rights offering

Manage end-to-end GIC processing including issuances, maturities and redemptions

Review and validate corporate action notification and ensure entitlement calculations

Connect with Internal Teams (tax, compliance, service) to ensure proper handling and escalation of examples transactions

Monitor and resolve discrepancies and exceptions in a timely manner

Maintain accurate records and support audit and reporting requirements

Skills/Requirements
Experience:
-
3-5 years of experience in corporate actions processing within a financial institution broker dealer or custodial environment
-
Demonstrated hands on experience with mandatory and voluntary corporate action transaction types
-
Working knowledge of GIC products and fixed income processing
-
Familiarity with industry platforms and settlement systems (e.g. DTCC, CDS, DTC, or equivalent)
-
Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
-
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
-
Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with back-office or operational systems is an asset
-
Experience with REOR or similar reorganization processing systems
-
Exposure to dividend reinvestment and DRIP processing workflows
-
Knowledge of tax implications related to corporate action events
