Job Description

Under the supervision of the Sanitation Supervisor, the Sanitation Attendant is responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation activities on production equipment in accordance with established standards and procedures.

• Rinse, scrub, clean, and wash production machinery
• Push lettuce and blow air on production equipment
• Empty garbage bins
• Wash conveyors using water hoses
• Remove condensation and water from walls, ceilings, and floors
• Perform any other related duties as required

Main Responsibilities

• High school diploma is an asset

• 0 to 6 months of relevant experience, ideally in a manufacturing or food processing environment

• Ability to work standing in a cold and humid environment (3°C)

• Ability to lift loads of up to 50 lbs (for certain workstations)

• Strong observation skills and sense of urgency

• Ability to work under pressure

• Detail-oriented and versatile
